Kunal and I are really impressed with our readers' initiative of taking photos and sending them to us. In fact, we enjoy it so much, that we're going full force with it. Here's the details:

We are starting a photography contest for our readers. All you have to do, is send us photos that you take. We will publish the best photo from all the entries received in a particular month. So, a best photo from all the ones submitted from the 1st of April till the 30th of April will be published before 7th of May. And so on, and so forth. The winning photo, as well as the runners up will be published on our facebook page, and will bear a watermark of your name.

Send us your photograph at a.photo.a.day.gk@gmail.com, with "contest submission" as the subject. Please be warned that spam mail will be automatically deleted.

So, what are you waiting for?! Start sending!

new identity!

Hey guys, as you may have noticed on our facebook, we have a new logo (that we will incorporate on this blog, soon)!

So, were any of you lot fooled on April 1st? This prank was all over facebook... and these were the top ten pranks of 2011.

I have to say, though, I sort of believed in Magic Dice even though I was a bit skeptical... :P I pranked two people successfully (one of them was our Kunal ha ha ha!!). If you want to whip up a quick prank, try this one that I did last year! Works like magic ;)

I had planned to start a new feature on this blog in the new year, but with my camera still not working, those prospects seem thin :(

So sorry peeps. I don't have internet on my computer (this is going to continue for a wee while), and my camera's gone for repairs. All in all, not good for a photo-a-day blog.

Don't fret, Kunal's still going to be posting. And. I have a brand new idea that I will be following from the 1st of Jan! Can't wait for that!

New authors!

Heya! As you might've noticed, we've got two brand new authors on this blog! A warm welcome to Helen of Cross Bones Style, and Kunal of Kunal Kava!

Kunal and I are quite busy with exams, assessments and what-not at the moment, so I apologise if our posts aren't as frequent as we hope them to be ... but I'm quite interested to see where this little photo-trip takes us! Hopefully we'll get to relive these days when we're all old and wrinkly and looking back at our blog! Hahaha!

Other thing that's really interesting is that we three are from different countries! Helen from the US of A, Kunal from India, and little old me from little old New Zealand! So I'm thinking our photos will differ muchly! [and of course, each of us has a unique style, too!]

Oh, and a note to Helen and Kunal: I'm sorry that we only have my name in the blog address ... I didn't know I was going to get contributors, you see ... and the other possible names have already been taken ... what should we do about this?!
