Creative Banner

At Matheran, there is a hotel "Hope Hall". I came across this creative type of banner used by them. They used all their old chairs, painted them coluorful, and made a cool banner out of it.

Green Bug

Which shade do you like? Nature's green bug or human made green nail-paint?

Little Monkey

I visited Matheran two days ago, over there I spotted this cute little monkey getting mischievous and played around his mother. I laughed uncontrollably watching his mischief.

flower? leave?

I don't know what is it called. They looked wonderful so took a snap. Tel me if you know what it is.
And hey, in the background on left side did you notice that leaves with thorns? Thorns are on the surface of the leaves. I haven't seen such kind earlier. Actually I too noticed those leaves in this picture, or else I would have taken picture of them too.

Do tell me what are they called?

This one is from my summer collection. In India during summers, its the season of making potato wafers(chips), pickles,  papad, and many more things (which I am not recollecting now) which can be stored through the year. They tastes superb around the year! Just now I had these chips with my dinner, so a thought came of posting this pic. And yaa, they tastes super-duper awesome with salsa sauce. MUST try!

You want recipe? Click here, I searched for you! But only 1 problem, you will have to wait till the summer. :-|

Pink Rose

The fragrance of this rose was so mesmerizing, I kept on smelling and smelling. I wish I could put up its fragrance with this post.

I am in love with its sweet fragrance.

crazy galore

Well, since Kunal had a crazy pic on here, why don't I post one that I took recently.

It's inverted because I took it in PhotoBooth. And yes, I made that tasseled garland for New Years' Eve. Yeah that's my room.

Sparrows Bathing

Every morning these cute little sparrows come to my window to have their breakfast. My mom give them all the left-over food, and don't go on their size, they finish it ALL.
The best part is, there is a bowl of small bamboo plant, they drink water from that bowl, have a bath, get mischievous, wait in queue, fight among them, coz' each of them want to have bath first. SO much fun to watch them! Just priceless!
So I thought of capturing their fun in a video. I woke up early, made the setup, placed the food, filled water in the bowl, and they kept me waiting for TWO hours. :-| But the wait was proved worth, they came, did their fun and gave me an amazing video. :-)

I love taking photographs wherein I zoom into the subject, to the point where you're not really sure what its true form is anymore. Up close, the same subject can be transformed into a completely different world.

Dried river

The thick layer of algae formed on the surface of water also starts drying up. It seems like a green and white colour bed-sheet is spread on these rocks. Click on the image to get clear view

This here is a photograph that I recycled from last year (yeah, camera's still not working, ugh!). Believe it or not, but this beautiful kite flew in to my room during the kite festival, while I was reading The Kite Runner. A happy coincidence, that.

Sadly, I couldn't bring it back with me to New Zealand. I often wonder if it's still there, in our house.

Btw, The Kite Runner? A great read. Movie's just as good. But read the book first!

Tiny Flowers

These flowers (or what ever are they called) are so small in size, they merely can cover one third part of my smallest finger. I could not take the photograph properly, but in real they were looking very cute.

Heart or 'Y'?

Firstly, a very Happy New Year to all our readers, may your this year too bring joy and reasons to celebrate as the 2010.
Secondly, we are extremely sorry for not posting too often these days. My exams are coming next week and Gandhali (ha ha ha), her camera is not working. May she get a new camera soon!

My dad had gone on a small trip to Nashik. On the way he found this unusual shaped tree, and he clicked instantly.
My problem is, I can see this tree is in heart-shape. What do you say? Heart-shaped or 'Y'-shaped?
