Peaceful morning, not much work in office, soothing music playing in my ear-buds, so I called this post as morning raga. :-)

DOWN with the DAWN

Today I have a guest blogger, my friend Mini to write for this picture of mine. She really liked this picture and showed interest in writing context for this post. Let us see what she has for us! :-)

Often looking at the setting sun, I’m run by the memories of my past. I laugh upon the instances wherein I made stupid mistakes, I feel proud of the moment I succeeded in achieving something, I feel sad about the moment I was hurt badly. There is this plethora of emotions that goes through my mind. Emotions of love, regret, sadness…. but above all is a satisfaction that I lived those moments by myself and faced life the way it came. So as the sun sets I let my past go down with it, and the darkness following it implies to me a blank blackboard preparing to be written about the new tomorrow and a new start and a new line of experiences which in future would be part of my memories. So next time you watch a sun set let go off all the ill memories, preserve the good ones and give a new start. A day is too long with full of opportunities to explore and life is too short to have regrets. 

Just like this bird take some time out to watch this scenic beauty in real and you would understand what I meant. Let the load go DOWN with the DAWN.

In love with coconut trees

First of all, apologies to all the lovely viewers. New things in my life keeping me so busy to blog. I hope once I get adjusted with all the stuffs I'll manage A Photo A Day. Well for the time A Photo A WEEK. ;-)

Colour the sky: orange.
In India this orange coloured flower is known as Gulmohar (Hindi and Urdu -‘Gul’ means flower and ‘Mohr’ is ‘peacock’, thus the name suggests a spectacular show of color, like the extraordinary colors of a peacock's tail). It is also one of several trees known as Flame tree.

This picture seems like they are two separate landscapes and they are merged together performing some nice editing tricks. But this is not the truth, the whole frame is one landscape, no editing, no merging, purely captured in one frame. 

Now a days editing tools are so high end, that they can transform a picture into what not. But I would say photography isn't about photoshop'ing the pictures, it should be raw photographs. Those are the true photography.

spectacular sunset

Spectacular sun getting set at Juhu beach, Mumbai. Experimenting myself taking landscapes pictures in portrait mode. As I see many of the photographers getting their nice hands on this type of photography, I thought of experimenting myself. A different percept of the hotel Trident. This is one of the place where terrorist attacked Mumbai in 2008 on '26/11'. Standing still!

LOL at the title?
Yes, I also laughed out loud when my sis suggested me title for this picture. These are the coconut flavored lollipops, one for one free. :-)

Hot summer evening.

We hate the blowing hot wind, as temperature reaching its peak in Mumbai. As sun gets set, I find myself a place  near the sea. Where even a little breeze in the air can be found soothing.
Uff, when will this summer end? I am desperately waiting for the rains!

This 'speaking-picture' is by my dear friend Ruchi. This picture shows us such a deep meaning of life. They both are the same kind of trees, both are grown on the same soil, both are having the same amount of sunlight, then too one is rich-green and other one is about to shed his leaves. Time is never the same, even for the same.
