This here is a photograph that I recycled from last year (yeah, camera's still not working, ugh!). Believe it or not, but this beautiful kite flew in to my room during the kite festival, while I was reading The Kite Runner. A happy coincidence, that.
Sadly, I couldn't bring it back with me to New Zealand. I often wonder if it's still there, in our house.
Btw, The Kite Runner? A great read. Movie's just as good. But read the book first!
