Mr. Clause was here!

That's right ... he was here a month before Christmas! The Christmas parade was beautiful, colourful, and fun. A very kind gentleman offered me his spot [I was standing behind him previously] since I was taking so many photographs ... and I ended up taking at least 150. Check out some of them!

The confetti burst:

The dancers in fluoro colours:

The sponsors' balloons:

The cheerleaders were a big hit:

Bitey Grass

Trying to not step on daisies as I go out to take the washing in ... but get bitten by bugs anyway. I like that photo; it is happily random. [They're my dad's jandals, not mine!].

:(

Ohh dearie! I went outside to take a photo for my post, and ...

got myself bitten by an unidentified insect! Ouchies! But ... I got my photo. Phew. I shall post it later, when the sting-y feeling in my hands subsides ...

Till then, my friends, be safe outside! And have a wonderful day!

Not as flash

So my camera's not as flash as Helen's ... hahaha ... just a little digital baby ... that loves to go psycho on me.

I don't know why but I'm very happy about the little black thingamabob on this photo. It would've been too perfect a picture without it. What do you think?

A little behind-the-scenes info: My friend Karishma was over at my place when I took this, and she was sitting on my bed with a cutesy pose. Obviously, she thought I was going to take a photo of her. Obviously, that's what a normal person would've done. But me, I went ahead and took photos of my window with the little black thingamabob on it. She was not happy.

Yup. That's it from me for today, I think. As always, please click on the photo to make it bigger. Let me know as to where we're going with this blog is okay ... we heart comments! :D

"New Moon" Themed Fashion Show

My high school (that I graduated from) had a fashion show with the theme of Twilight/New Moon. The person in the picture was my commercial art teacher back in high school. I edited this picture using Photoscape!

Cheerios

I'll admit it ... the only reason I decided to try out Cheerios was ... well ... because they were in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix [although they're called Cheeri Owls].

Anyway, I was having Cheerios the other day, and they were so delicious and pretty that I decided to take a photo of it:

Then I decided to play around with them a bit:

Then I got hungry and ate them all. Nom nom nom! >.<

Sky Jump

A very scary form of having fun: Sky Jump.
Wherein you are tied to two ropes and pushed from a tall building. [Okay, maybe not pushed].

Worms-eye-view of someone sky jumping:

An even scarier form of having fun: Bungee Jumping.
Wherein your legs get tied to a stretchy rope. And then, you jump. Just like that.

Birds-eye-view before the jump [at Taupo]:
As you might be able to tell, I am terrified of heights. So both these "fun" activities scare the hell out of me. Three of my friends did bungee jump however ... this is one of the photos taken before they jumped.

p.s.: No, I don't dive, or climb trees, or sit on crazy rides such as Fear Fall.

Gulab Jamun

Gulab Jamun! Yummyy!! Its an Indian sweet dish or usually served as a dessert made of a dough consisting mainly of milk solids (often including double cream and flour) in a sugar syrup flavored with cardamom seeds and rosewater or saffron.
Recently my Dad learnt making Gulab Jamun, and he experted in it! These mouth-watering Gulab Jamuns are made by my Dad!

Want to know more on Gulab Jamuns and recipe? (NO! I wont give you my dad's secret recipe. Ha Ha) Google it! Ok, I did for you, click here.

Dress

These are the flowers that are growing wildly over my brick wall. It seems like it has the form of a long dress. I love this color setting! It's purple.. but looks grayish lavender.
